CSB recommends Forty Eight IAS officers of 1989 batch for empanelment as J. S.
Finally, after a lot of speculation and long wait, only forty eight IAS officers of 1989 batch have been recommended by the CSB for empanelment to hold the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent in the Government of India. The officers whose names have been recommended are;

Syed Naseem A. Zaidi, IAS (UP, 1976) has joined his new assignment as Director-General, Civil Aviation in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Mr. Saurabh Chandra may join GOI
Mr. Saurabh Chandra, IAS (UP, 1978) is tipped to be in consideration for some important assignment in the Government of India. Mr. Chandra has recently been empanelled for holding the post of Additional Secretary in the Central Government.
