Ms. S. Jalaja to be next Secretary, AYUSH
Ms. S. Jalaja, IAS (BH, 1974) who was empanelled as Secretary in the Government of India recently, has been appointed as next Secretary, Department of Ayurveda Yoga and Naturopathy Unani Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. At present, Mr. Naresh Dayal, IAS (UP:72), Secretary, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is holding the additional charge of Secretary, AYUSH following the retirement of Ms. Anita Das, IAS (MP, 1972), the earlier incumbent to the post.

Mr. Niraj Ranjan Das, IPS (WB, 1973), ADG in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has been appointed as the next Director General of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

Mr. Devinder Pal Singh, IAS (UP, 1980), Secretary, National Commission for Safai Karmacharis, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment may be shifted to Ministry of Earth Sciences, sources informed. The position has fallen vacant following the voluntary retirement of Mr. Prakash Kumar, an IAS officer of 1985 batch from UT cadre.

Who will be appointed as the CEO, Food & Safety Standard Authority, Ministry of Health & Family welfare? Earlier the Government has appointed Mr. Jatinder Pal Singh, IAS (UT, 1977), Chief Secretary of Goa on this post but he didn’t joined.
Mr. Ambuj sharma may be appointed J. S., Heavy Industries
It is tipped that Mr. Ambuj Sharma, IAS (TN, 1983) is being considered for appointment as Joint Secretary in the Department of Heavy Industries, Ministry of Heavy Industries & Public Enterprises. The post was held earlier by Mr. Arun Singhal, IAS (UP, 1987) who was appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer, Gas Authority of India Limited (GAIL) under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
Mr. Prashant appointed CVO, Oil India
Mr. Prashant, IAS (WB, 1988) has been appointed as Chief Vigilance Officer, Oil India Limited under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. Prior to this, he was serving as Director in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance.
