Ms. V. Ramachandran may be appointed A. S., Expenditure
Ms. Vilasini Ramachandran, IAS (GJ, 1977), Additional Secretary & FA, Ministry of Civil Aviation may soon be shifted to other responsibility as Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure. Following the appointment Ms Rita Menon, IAS (UT, 1975) as Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles the post of Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, held earlier by her fell vacant.
Mr. R. C. Mishra to be shifted to IT?
Mr. R. C. Mishra, IAS (MT, 1978), Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development is belived to be in consideration for being shifted to Department of Information Technology as Additional Secretary. It is also tipped that NMr. Mishra will be given additional charge of Additional Secretary, Information & Broadcasting.
Mr. Saurabh Chandra may become A. S., IPP
According to sources, Mr. Saurabh Chandra, IAS (UP, 1978) may be appointed as Additional Secretary & FA in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry in place of Mr. Dileep Raj S. Chaudhary, IAS (MP, 1977). Mr. Chaudhary has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Mr. Bharat Bhusan may be appointed JS & FA, Civil Aviation
According to sources, Mr. E. K. Bharat Bhusan, IAS (KL, 1979), Joint Secretary & FA in the Department of Information and Technology is likely to shifted as Joint Secretary & FA in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Mr. D. R. S. Chaudhary appointed A. S., Home

It is tipped that Mr. Ajay Mittal Mittal, IAS (HP, 1982) may be appointed as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation in place of Mr. K. N. Srivastava, IAS (KN, 1978) who has been appointed as next Director General of Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), Ministry of Culture.

Anita Soni may be appointed Director (Finance), BSNL
The name of Anita Soni is believed to have been recommended for appointment as Director (Finance), Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL).
Mr. Alok Sinha-II may join GOI
The name of Mr. Alok Sinha-II, IAS (UP, 1986) is said to be in consideration for some assignment in the Central Government and if appointed he may join GOI soon.
Mr. Madhav Chandra appointed High Commissioner to Republic of Botswana
Mr. Madhav Chandra, at present serving as Minister in High Commission of India, London, has been appointed as the India’s next High Commissioner to the Republic of Botswana in succession to Mr. V. N. Hade.
Mr. Pavan Kumar Varma appointed Ambassador to Bhutan
Mr. Pavan Kumar Verma, Director General of Indian Council for Cultural Relations, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Bhutan in succession to Mr. Sudhir Vyas.
