Ms. V. Ramachandran to become A. S., EA?
Is Ms. Vilasini Ramachandran, IAS (GJ, 1977), Additional Secretary & FA, Ministry of Civil Aviation joining Ministry of Finance? If the buzz is to be believed, Ms. Ramachandran may be appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Economic Affairs on the post held earlier by Ms. Sindhushree Khullar, IAS (UT, 1975), who was appointed Secretary, Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
Ms. Loretta Mary Vas may be shifted
Following the appointment Ms Rita Menon, IAS (UT, 1975) as Secretary in the Ministry of Textiles the post of Additional Secretary in the Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, held earlier by her fell vacant. According to sources, Ms. Loretta Mary Vas, IAS (UP, 1977), Additional Secretary (Budget) in the Department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance may be shifted to the post held earlier by Ms. Menon in the Department of Expenditure.
Mr. Saurabh Chandra may join GOI
If Mr. Dileep Raj S. Chaudhary, IAS (MP, 1977), Additional Secretary & FA in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry is shifted to the Ministry of Home Affairs as Additional Secretary, it is being tipped that Mr. Saurabh Chandra, IAS (UP, 1978) may be brought back to the centre and be appointed as Additional Secretary in the Department of Industrial policy and Promotion.
Mr. D. R. S. Chaudhary to become A. S., Home?
It is tipped that Mr. Dileep Raj S. Chaudhary, IAS (MP, 1977), Additional Secretary & FA in the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry is the most likely candidate to be appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs in place of Mr. Vinay Kumar, IAS (KN, 1975), who has been appointed as the Secretary, Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs.
Mr. D. K. Mittal to become A. S., Commerce?
Mr. Dinesh Kumar Mittal, IAS (UP, 1977) may join Central Government soon. According to sources, Mr. Mittal is in consideration for appointment as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry in place of Mr. Rahul Khullar, IAS (UT, 1975). Mr. Khullar has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Disinvestment, Ministry of Finance. Mr. Mittal, who was empanelled for holding the post of Additional Secretary or equivalent in the Central Government recently, has earlier served as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce.
Mr. R. C. Mishra to be shifted to IT?
Mr. R. C. Mishra, IAS (MT, 1978), who being the choice of Urban Development Minister was appointed as Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Urban Development is believed to be in consideration for being shifted to Department of Information Technology as Additional Secretary.
Mr. Bharat Bhusan may be appointed JS & FA, Civil Aviation
According to sources, Mr. E. K. Bharat Bhusan, IAS (KL, 1979), Joint Secretary & FA in the Department of Information and Technology is likely to shifted as Joint Secretary & FA in the Ministry of Civil Aviation. Also, it is believed that Mr. Bhusan on being shifted to Ministry of Civil Aviation is likely to get the additional charge of Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Culture and Ministry of Environment & Forests.

Finally, Ms. Aruna Sharma, IAS (MP, 1982), Joint Secretary, National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) in the Ministry of Home Affairs has been appointed as DG, Doordarshan.
