According to sources, the name of Mr. A. S. Gill, IPS (RJ, 1972) may be considered by the Ministry of Home for appointment as the next Director General of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Ms. Renuka Kumar to join GOI on deputation?

It is tipped that Ms. Renuka Kumar, IAS (UP, 1987) is being considered for appointment as Joint Secretary in some Ministry in the Government of India and if appointed may join Central Government on deputation.

According to sources, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, IAS (MT, 1988), Private Secretary to the Minister of Road Transport and Highways may be appointed as the next Joint Secretary, Corporate Affairs in place of Mr. Khosla.

Appointment of Deputy Governor, RBI

The appointment of new Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of India in place of Mr. V. Leeladhar, who retired in the early of December, 2008, which supposed to be finalised on 05th January, is likely to be decided now on 12th January, 2009. According to sources, Mr. T. S. Narayanasami, Chairman and Managing Director of Bank of India is the most probable contender to be appointed as Deputy Governor, RBI.
